First, you have to take off the labels and wash and sanitize them. Next, paint the lids with an all-surface paint (or one that won't come off - I like Martha Stuart brand all-surface paints). You'll have to do a few coats to cover all the words. Next, write your labels and stick them on (I found my labels for $.50 on clearance at Joanns!). EASY and fun!

Our Mission
We are three sisters who want to share how we "live within our means" but live well! We will show you how (with a little elbow grease) you can make any found object into a treasure, cook an inexpensive meal, or bring you inspiration to enrich your life. We grew up in a large family (8 kids) with a mother who was very crafty and creative! Though our lives (aka husbands) have taken us to live in separate states, we still enjoy sharing what we are up to with each other. Now we want to share with you! We hope you enjoy our blog and we also hope it will bring you inspiration and happiness!

Baby food jar storage
My little girl just started eating solids and I'm so excited! Mainly because I get to have all of her finished empty glass baby food jars. They are SO useful!! I use them to store dried herbs and spices, craft accessories, and I make candles out of them for year supply. I just hate throwing away most glass jars when their empty, no matter what size.
